Jack has produced special versions of his award-winning movie, “The Golden Bone” and sent them to Children’s Hospitals around the country. “Now, whenever the children watch my movie I will be there with them” says Jack. “I will help them through their illness and comfort them”. “We will also have some fun too, ‘cuz laughter always makes us feel better.”
Jack also looks forward to visiting the kids with cancer at Camp Mak-A-Dream. He made them special, personalized movies too. In addition, Jack also gave them many of his treasured props that were used in The Golden Bone movie. According to Jack, “The kids just loved their gifts. The movie props had a lot of sentimental value to me, but I knew they would give those kids more joy than me.” Jack and director, John Williams, will be going to Camp Mak-A-Dream this summer to visit with the kids and film a music video with them. “We couldn’t be more excited, says Williams. It will be great spending a few days with these kids and getting to know them better. I know they will have fun making the music video with Jack.” Jack also has a soft spot for all his animal friends who are less fortunate. In such, he has used his celebrity to assist many non-profit animal organizations (animal shelter, humane society, humane association, farm animal sanctuary, pet rescue, etc.). Jack has attended several of their benefits and functions, as well as donated his acting talents and production resources and produced many public service announcements for them. Jack was honored to have made a 25th Anniversary PSA for Best Friends Animal Society. “I had a great time making this commercial,” says Jack. Best Friends does such a wonderful job for all my animal friends.” Jack donates a lot of food to AniMeals so they can feed his hungry friends. “I made a commercial for AniMeals too. Karyn and all the other dedicated people at AniMeals do such a great job making sure that all my animal friends out there have a nutritious meal to eat. It’s the least I can do.”
